Eugene Smith from 1957 to 1965, this film tells the story of the Manhattan loft building that Smith turned into a gathering spot for jazz musicians and jam sessions. Smith's sounds and images are interspersed with present-day interviews with musicians and other visitors who spent time in the jazz loft during those years
